Speaker/Consultant Fees
The fees for programs vary. Speakers set their own fees, and the school will be responsible for speaker travel expenses.
The NLN fee to use the Speaker/Consultant Bureau reflects the costs associated with the following:
- Preparation of the continuing education application and obtaining approval
- Maintenance of the CE files
- Creation and distribution of CE certificates
- Negotiation and distribution of the speaker's honorarium
- Creation and analysis of program and speaker evaluation
- Staff time and resources to respond to inquiries and maintain the Bureau
- Support for the committee members who review speaker/program applications
Fee for a one day (6 hour) program:
NLN Member School: $200 Non-member School: $500
Additional fees will apply if a program is extended or modified.
Consultant Fees
The NLN processing fee for using an NLN-approved consultant reflects:
- Creation and analysis of consultant evaluation forms
- Staff time and resources to respond to inquiries and maintain the Bureau
- Support for the committee members who review the consultant applications.
Consultation fees and consultant travel and lodging will be negotiated
between the consultant and the school depending on the duration of the consultancy.
Fee for initial consulting period:
NLN Member School: $200 Non-member School: $500
