Reiki Level I for Nurses

(This course will be given again on July 12, 2008)
This approved class provides Nurses with an in-depth understanding of the practice
of Reiki. Ample time for practice is provided. Included are instruction, attunement,
handouts, certificate and contact hour submission. Nurses receive 8.3 contact
hours. Accredited course #06-36. $150.
Reiki Level II for Nurses
July 24, 2008, Westwood MA
Open to all Nurses who have completed a Level I training class. Advance your
understanding and practice of Reiki. Review all principles and practices of
Level I. Learn to use healing symbols in your practice. Learn to send Reiki
to others not physically present. Discussion of special applications for Nurses.
Includes materials, instruction, training and filing of 8.2 contact hours. Accredited
course #07-38. $200.
Healthy Eating for Nurses Two Mondays per month Ongoing.
7:00pm-9:00pm Norwood MA This approved program is part of a series that addresses
the particular challenges nurses face in planning and eating healthy foods.
Program is designed for those who want to learn to eat healthy foods with a
goal of weight loss or recovery from illness or prevention of illness. Session
focus is on whole grains and vegetables, how to purchase and prepare, effects
of chewing on satiety and digestion, and self-assessment tools for building
a balanced lifestyle. Special attention to on the job stress and its effect
on weight gain. 2.0 ceu's per session. Accredited course #07-12. $50 per session.
