The Nebraska League for Nursing supports the vision, mission and goals of the National League for Nursing.

At the local level, the NeLN plans to focus on the following.

1. Promote faculty development by providing
   1. Annual workshops co-sponsored by the NLN
   2. Continued National Task force involvement by NeLN members
   3. NeLN members involved in national offices
   4. Involvement in the speaker bureau of NLN
   5. Sponsorship of NeLN members to NLN Education Summit
   6. Involvement with LGNNO

2. Increase the membership base of the NeLN by
   1. Encouraging new members to join the NeLN by offering discounts to members to Faculty Development Workshops
   2. Increase membership by having NeLN booths at conventions
   3. Newsletter to all Nursing Deans and Directors of NE
