PERSONAL STATEMENT

As a leader in nursing education for the past 20 years, I have had the unique opportunity to promote nursing education internationally by participating in academic exchange programs with colleagues across five continents. Through my leadership within the NLN and the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning, I have championed a cohesive leadership group that fosters support, networking, and sharing of nursing education and simulation resources. I feel my leadership positions and extensive involvement within the NLN would be an asset to the nominations committee. Having served on other nomination committees for organizations and schools of nursing, I value teamwork and understand the importance of having sound knowledge of board operations and required competencies. I would be honored to utilize my leadership skills and nursing education experiences to formally serve on the NLN Nominations Committee
