NLN CNEA Nominations for Board of Commissioners and Nominations Committee
Notes on eligibility for the NLN CNEA Ballot:
Eligible nurse educators are either an active or retired individual NLN member, employed at an NLN member institution, or employed at an NLN CNEA accredited or pre-accredited program. Nurse educators who do not meet these criteria are not eligible for placement on the NLN CNEA ballot in a nurse educator role.
Nursing practice representative must either hold a part-time or full-time active practice position.
NLN CNEA Nominations for Board of Commissioners and Nominations Committee Are Now Closed
Each year, the NLN CNEA seeks nurse educators and practice representatives with expertise in nursing education, higher education, nursing practice, and related fields to serve on its Board of Commissioners and Nominations Committee.
There may be Board of Commissioner vacancies for nurse educator positions or nursing practice representative positions. Nurse educators representing all program types (practical/vocational, diploma (RN), associate degree, bachelor degree, master’s degree and clinical practice doctoral programs) are eligible to serve. Terms in office are three years in duration. The NLN CNEA has set Board of Commissioners engagement expectations.
There may also be openings on the NLN CNEA Nominations Committee. Terms are two years in length; committee members are expected to participate in all scheduled teleconferences.
When nominations re-open, please consider nominating eligible colleagues. Self-nominations are welcome.
