CNEA Releases Pre-Accreditation Candidacy Worksheet

Programs interested in submitting an application for pre-accreditation candidacy by the April 10, 2017 deadline must indicate their interest by sending an email to accreditation@nln.org. Programs that indicate their interest will receive information about how to complete an online pre-accreditation candidacy application.

NLN CNEA has developed a worksheet to assist programs pursuing NLN CNEA pre-accreditation candidacy status to gather information in preparation for their online application. This worksheet should not be submitted to NLN CNEA staff. It is not an application for NLN CNEA pre-accreditation candidacy. It will not be accepted in lieu of an online application. All pre-accreditation applications are to be submitted using the NLN CNEA’s e-portal system. Download the worksheet.

NLN CNEA Critical Substantive Change and Notable Substantive Change Forms

Programs that have been pre-accredited or accredited by NLN CNEA are responsible for notifying NLN CNEA when critical substantive changes are implemented within the parent institution, nursing academic unit, or nursing program. This Critical Substantive Change form is to be filed with NLN CNEA staff no later than 60 days after the change is scheduled to take effect. Filing of a critical substantive change report may generate a request for additional data and/or, in the case of accredited programs, a focused on-site program evaluation visit. Download the Critical Substantive Change form.

Programs that have been pre-accredited or accredited by NLN CNEA are responsible for notifying NLN CNEA when notable substantive changes are implemented within the nursing academic unit or nursing program. This Notable Substantive Change form is to be filed with NLN CNEA staff in conjunction with the Annual Program Report no later than January 15th of each calendar year. Filing of a notable substantive change report may generate a request for additional data and/or, in the case of accredited programs, a focused on-site program evaluation visit.
