National League for Nursing - Careers
The National League for Nursing is a professional organization of
nurse educators. The NLN does encourage and support
those who are seeking a nursing career, but it does not
have a curriculum for students. We suggest that you contact the resources
listed below for more information.
Considering Nursing
as a Career?
Nursing practice is no longer limited to the hospital
setting. Nursing career choices and opportunities are extensive
and varied. Read about career options and personal stories from
nursing students and nurses at:

Financial
Aid
Planning and applying for financial aid to support
nursing education should start early. Financial aid for all students
is limited so it is important that the application and necessary
documents are submitted by published deadlines.
Begin by researching local resources such as the Lion's Club, American
Legion, Chamber of Commerce, and women's organizations. Contact
the financial aid office of the school where you plan to attend.
