NLN Assessment News

January 2021

Dear NLN Assessment Customers,

Happy 2021! I hope that you had a relaxing and safe holiday. As we continue to see how the Spring semester will progress, I am pleased to let you know that we are continuing with remote proctored testing. Additionally, we have reviewed concerns raised by you and we have made a few changes while away for the holiday that I am excited to share with you.

  1. The telephone system is back up and operational for institutions and students. Our number has not changed: 1-800-732-8656, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central.

  2. We are now offering direct technical support through QuestionMark. A dedicated team is ready to take care of any technical issues you or your students are experiencing.*

    Raise Support Requests to:

Phone: 1-800-732-8656; press Option 1 for Technical Support or Option 3 for Non-Technical Support

*Validation is required. These services are limited to partner admins and proctors. You may contact on a student’s behalf or have the student contact our student specialist at 1-800-732-8656, Option 2.

  3. We have reviewed the new ADA policy and procedure implemented in the fall and learned there were challenges created for some of our remote proctor customers. To ensure a more streamlined process, we are reimplementing an NLN Accommodation Request and Review for remote proctored exams. We have removed our ADA products from the student store and will once again require prior approval. Please use the new 2021 Accommodation Form.

  4. Did you miss our December workshop? New Test Construction Committees are forming now. We are looking for test item writers, and members for the NLN Test Development committees. Are you ready to apply today?

Are you, or do you know, faculty who interested in conducting research related to the use of NLN Assessment products and services within your institution? We are looking for researchers. Please complete and submit information about your study.

Are you interested in school of nursing admissions? We are looking for members of our inaugural Admissions Advisory Committee. Be a part of the discussions and planning for NLN pre-admission products and services. Apply now.

NLN Assessment customers, we hope to talk to you soon.

Best regards,
