The National League for Nursing is holding its fifth annual Immersion
Experience in Evidence-Based Nursing Education from June 5-9 at the
Mt Washington Conference Center, on the campus of Johns Hopkins University,
Baltimore, MD. This is an intensive week-long event designed to communicate
cutting-edged, evidence-based concepts in nursing education. The Immersion
Experience is designed to help develop and refine the skills and insights
needed to augment the evolvement of the nurse educator and leader.
It offers participants the opportunity to sharpen their teaching and
research skills through one of three areas of intensive study.
Track I: Emerging Faculty Leaders: Using New Pedagogies to Facilitate
Learning
Track II: New Administrators: Facilitating Rapid Transition into
Leadership Roles
Track III: Curriculum Innovators: Integrating Simulation or Gerontology
There is no exhibit area, however, the opportunity
for sponsorship is being offered to companies with products that
would be of interest to our attendees. Each sponsor will be thanked
during the conference, and acknowledged in the program book. In
addition a piece of approved literature from the sponsor will be
included with the conference handouts.
