SPEAKER INFORMATION

Marie Hayden-Miles PhD, RN, is the Dean of the School of Health Sciences at Farmingdale State College of New York, Farmingdale New York. Dr. Hayden-Miles has been using Narrative Pedagogy for many years and has presented on this topic at regional, national and international conferences.

Dr. Hayden-Miles is currently the Site Director for the Narrative Pedagogy Project at Farmingdale State College. This Project brings together faculty from all over the world to explore how to become reform courses and curricula in an effort to become better educators.

Kathleen A. Walsh EdD, RNC, CNE, has taught nursing for over 25 years and currently is Chairperson of Nursing at Farmingdale State College. She has been involved with Narrative Pedagogy for several years as a participant in teleconferences in the Narrative Pedagogy Project at Farmingdale State College. She has collaborated in developing and teaching nursing courses using this perspective.
