DESCRIPTION A new day is dawning. As the population ages, nurses are seeking
new ways to provide excellent care for an increasing number of older adults. This
conference introduces a new framework for the care of older adults using an array of excellent
geriatric resources.
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES
Expand their understanding of
critical issues for individualizing nursing care for older
adults using the ACES framework in a variety of care environments.
Explore collaborative opportunities with clinical
partners to utilize the ACES framework to improve quality
of care for older adults.
Identify teaching strategies and on-line resources
that enhance understanding of the complexity of care for older
adults.
