National League for Nursing - Faculty Development
During
the past few years, constituent leagues, member schools,
and nursing organizations have co-sponsored faculty development
programs with the NLN. Generally, the co-sponsor identifies
a need for a specific topic that is of interest to many
faculty in their surrounding region and we discuss the process
of planning an event. If the co-sponsorship is beneficial
both to the NLN and the co-sponsor, we will move forward
together to plan the event. We divide the work, the expenses,
and any profit after expenses are paid. Below we have provided
a sample of potential co-sponsor responsibilities to help
you begin thinking about this type of opportunity.
To discuss the possibility of a co-sponsored event, please
