Speaker Registration

Welcome to the speaker registration page. Below you will find information on the registration process, registration fees, and speaker responsibilities. We define a speaker as someone who addresses an identified topic for groups of various sizes in a conference type setting.

The program you submit must be six (6) hours in length. If a school requests a longer program, we will work with you to accomplish this. All continuing education programs offered through this speaker’s bureau must be approved through the NLN by IACET for six (6) contact hours toward continuing education (CE) credit.

Registration Process

To register for the NLN’s speaker bureau, please prepare the following documents, and click on the link below (all materials need to be submitted at the same time):

  1. Download and complete a Biographical Form
  2. Download and complete a CE Application Form
  3. Download and complete a Declaration of Vested Interest Form
  4. Download and complete a Payment Form
    • If paying by credit card, you may mail this form to Lynette Hinds, Manager, Professional Development, 61 Broadway, 33rd Floor, New York, NY 10006 or email completed form to LHinds@nln.org.
    • If paying by check, mail this form and your check to Lynette Hinds, Manager, Professional Development, 61 Broadway, 33rd Floor, New York, NY 10006.
  5. Have your CV updated and available to upload
  6. Be prepared to provide your NLN ID number. If you do not know your number, please contact membership@nln.org.
  7. Prepare to attach references/evaluations from past events where you have delivered a presentation.

Fees

There is a fee of $200 to register as a speaker. This fee covers the cost of processing one program for continuing education credit. Each additional program registered will be an additional $100. Fees will not be refunded if our NLN Committee does not approve your application.

Registration Process for Additional Programs

If you have already registered as a speaker and would like to add an additional program to the NLN’s speaker bureau, please download and complete a CE grid and update your biographical form and then click here to submit the materials.
