To address the issue of high stakes testing, the NLN enacted a process to develop national fair testing guidelines to assist nurse faculty and administrators in creating and implementing ethical and evidence-based academic progression and graduation policies.

In 2012 the NLN published a Vision statement, "Fair Testing Imperative in Nursing Education" and "NLN Fair Testing Guidelines for Nursing Education." This first FREE Conversations with… webinar will discuss the background and factors that led to their creation and how they address this critical issue.
