FORMAT
To participate in an audio/web conference, you only need a computer
connected to the internet with a speaker. You will hear the presentation
through the speakers. Following the presentation, there will be
plenty of time for questions and answers.
REGISTRATION
You may have as many faculty as you wish in a conference room, viewing
the presentation (which can be projected onto a large screen).
Your registration entitles you to one connection
only. If your school is logged onto the web server more
than once, your first connection will be terminated.
Registration is limited to 100 connections. Register early! If
we exceed 100 registrations, we will request that the speaker offer
the conference again at a later date.
We heard your budget concerns and know that the
critical shortage of faculty makes it difficult to take the time
to travel to professional development events. To address these needs,
NLN is instituting this new format and will offer several audio/web
conferences on selected topics on a regular basis. Please let me
know which topics are of most interest to you.
