Purpose
The purpose of the Educational Technology
and Information Management Advisory Council is to promote
evidence-based educational technologies and information
management that enhances learning and practice.
Goals
- Promote the effective use of educational
technology as a teaching tool.
- Advance faculty informatics competencies.
- Promote integration of informatics competencies into
nursing curricula and program outcomes.
- Promote the development of information management systems
for the support of nursing education.
- Advise professional organizations and other relevant
groups regarding the continued refinement of informatics
competencies for nurses.
- Collaborate with NLN advisory councils, task groups,
and other committees on issues related to educational
technology and information management.
- Collaborate with NLN advisory councils, task groups,
BOG liaisons, the president-elect, and other committees
on issues related to educational technology and information
management.
