$220 Million from DOL Available for Health Careers

The Department of Labor is accepting applications through October 5 for $220 million in competitive grants to prepare workers for careers in health care and other high-growth fields. Authorized by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the grants will give priority to projects to train people for health care careers, including nursing, allied health, long-term care and health information technology. Roughly $25 million of the funds will go to projects serving communities impacted by automotive industry restructuring. Please go to http://www.doleta.gov/
