Highly Esteemed Group of Leaders in Higher Education & Health Care Help Guide the Mission of the Foundation
Washington, DC — The National League for Nursing Foundation for Nursing Education is pleased to announce the expansion by four of its Advisory Council, effective immediately. Established in 2016 with seven leaders in various sectors of higher education and health care, the council has been a guiding force in aligning foundation support of scholarship, research, and faculty development with current priorities in nursing education and nursing practice.

"This amazing group of influencers has demonstrated a commitment to the National League for Nursing and, in their individual roles on the council, will continue to co-create awareness of and advance the mission of the NLN Foundation," said Cole Edmonson, DNP, RN, FACHE, NEA-BC, FAONL, FAAN, chief clinical officer at AMN Healthcare.

"One of our reasons for establishing an Advisory Council for the NLN Foundation has been to build a network of leaders from nursing education and other health care sectors that can collaborate on the challenges facing our profession and work together to develop effective solutions," said NLN CEO Beverly Malone, PhD, RN, FAAN. "This council is made up of esteemed professionals who bring important perspectives to how we approach our work and collaboratively fulfill our mission."
