Innovation Center Nursing Education Perspectives publishes brief articles focusing on innovations in nursing education in our Innovation Center column, edited by Linda Caputi, EdD, RN, CNE. Dr. Caputi, a member of the NLN Board of Governors from 2007 to 2009, is author of Teaching Nursing: The Art and Science, published by College of DuPage Press, now in a second edition. Innovation Center manuscripts are peer-reviewed. Please see our author guidelines for information on submission.

Faculty Matters In keeping with the NLN's commitment to the development of nursing faculty, Nursing Education Perspectives is proud to feature some of nursing's most innovative educators in our Faculty Matters column. Educators, particularly those who are new to the academic community, are asked about their role as educators, how they facilitate learning, innovative approaches they use, and the challenges they face. Their responses and reflections are shared in this column, which showcases the many ways in which nursing faculty contribute to the success of nursing education programs and provides a mechanism for highlighting innovative teaching and learning strategies. To recommend a colleague for Faculty Matters, contact Leslie Block, managing editor, lblock@nln.org.

Nursing Education Perspectives features several other departments, as noted below. Your contributions are welcome and encouraged.
