Innovation Center Nursing Education Perspectives publishes brief articles focusing on innovations in nursing education in our Innovation Center column, edited by Linda Caputi, EdD, RN, CNE, ANEF. Dr. Caputi, a member of the NLN Board of Governors from 2007 to 2009, is author of Teaching Nursing: The Art and Science, published by College of DuPage Press, now in a second edition. Research Briefs Nursing Education Perspectives publishes brief articles focusing on pilot studies in nursing education, studies based on a single site, and studies with small samples that would limit generalization. Barbara J. Patterson, PhD, RN, ANEF, professor of nursing and director of the PhD program at Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania, and chair of the NLN Nursing Education Research Grants Review Panel, is editor of this new peer-reviewed column.
