ACE.S Starter Kits

The National League for Nursing will continue to bring ACES to your institution upon request. There are two options for ACES Workshops:

Speaker's Bureau Event:

The NLN will:

  • Contract with Speaker and send honorarium payment to Speaker
  • Provide a master copy of all program materials two weeks in advance of the scheduled date of the event
  • Complete all required forms and processes essential for assigning NLN continuing education (CE) credit based on the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) criteria
  • Provide an electronic evaluation form to be used for the program
  • Provide NLN Continuing Education credits to attendees after receipt of attendee email list

The Requesting Agency will:

  • Coordinate all event logistics included but not limited to securing of venue, registration, negotiation of vendors' contracts, on-site logistics, audio-visual equipment, meals, lodging, etc.
  • Provide and coordinate registration
  • Coordinate and reimburse all travel and lodging arrangements for the speaker(s)
  • Duplicate handouts from master copy supplied by the NLN
  • Make payment of (Speaker's honorarium) to NLN by one month prior to the event
  • Provide a list containing the names and email addresses of all attendees following the event
  • Pay appropriate fee as outlined below to the NLN for provision of Continuing Education credits

Co-Sponsored Event:

The NLN will:

  • Contract with speaker(s)
  • Provide the following marketing assistance:
  • Post information about the program on its Website
  • Include a notice about the program in the Professional Development Bulletin, a broadcast email which is sent monthly to nurse educators.
  • Distribute flyers describing the program at appropriate NLN events
  • Create flier for co-sponsor to use in advertising the event
  • Receive and process all pre-registration
  • Complete all required forms and processes essential for assigning NLN continuing education (CE) credit based on the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) criteria.
  • Provide the evaluation form to be used for the program.
  • Provide electronic NLN CE certificates and maintain records for all program participants
  • Provide a master copy of the handout prepared and supplied by speakers

The Co-sponsor will:

  • Coordinate on-site registration
  • Assist with meeting room arrangement
  • Designate a local representative to assist with onsite registration and other assigned tasks. Submit this person's name to the NLN before the pre-registration close date of Workshop registration will be waived for this person.
  • Coordinate all on-site arrangements (i.e., housing, meals, meeting rooms, audiovisual equipment, local transportation, etc.)
  • Provide the following marketing assistance: post information about the program on its website (if applicable), distribute fliers provided by the NLN
  • Manage all speaker local travel (if applicable) and lodging arrangements
  • Duplicate handouts from master copy provided by the NLN
  • Pay appropriate fee as outlined below to the NLN for provision of Continuing Education credits
