NLN is now accepting proposals for the 2015 grant funding cycle. The deadline for proposals is Thursday, February 19, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
The Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) and the National League for Nursing have each identified a mutual interest in promoting research conducted by doctoral students and have agreed to enter into this agreement with the following goals:
Applicants for this $2,500 award must be members of MNRS. The NLN Nursing Education Research Grants review process is used. Click here for Procedures for Grant Submission. Proposals must have been approved by the applicant's dissertation committee prior to submission.
- To increase the quality and quantity of doctoral dissertations/DNP projects focused on nursing education
- To advance the science of nursing education
- To increase awareness of support for nursing education research by the MNRS and the NLN.
Each organization offers a $2,500 grant each cycle. MNRS awards a $2,500 grant in the spring; NLN awards a $2,500 grant in the fall.
