NLN Doctoral Dissertation/DNP Project Award
The Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) and the National League for Nursing have each identified a mutual interest in promoting research conducted by doctoral students and have agreed to enter into this agreement with the following goals:
- To increase the quality and quantity of doctoral dissertations/DNP projects focused on nursing education
- To advance the science of nursing education
- To increase awareness of support for nursing education research by the MNRS and the NLN.
Applicants for this $2,500 award must be members of MNRS. The NLN Nursing Education Research Grants review process is used. Click here for Procedures for Grant Submission. Proposals must have been approved by the applicant's dissertation committee prior to submission. Proposals are due to research@nln.org by June 28, 2013 at 4:00 pm EST. Awards will be announced at by the end of July 2013 and acknowledged at the annual NLN Summit.
