Identification of the Problem
The Problem: The practice of moulage mannequins and compatriots can present a challenge for various reasons. One specific challenge is the creation of realistic wounds. Many of the prefabricated wounds that accompany mannequins are cost prohibitive, inflexible, and not created for the skin of compatriot volunteers. In addition, some of the materials utilized to create and afix realistic wounds may present an allergy risk to compatriots.
