COMPREHENSIVE NURSING ACHIEVEMENT TEST - RN

Purpose: Evaluates the range of knowledge required for the beginning registered nurse. Written in the nursing process based on the NCLEX-RN® ® test blueprint, this secure test serves as a practice exam for NCLEX-RN®.
Format: 141 multiple-choice, four-option items.
Administration: Can be administered in two and one-half hours. Schedule at the completion of the educational program. This test may be administered as a computer-based test (CBT) or paper-based test (PBT). All achievement CBT and PBTs must be administered in a secure, proctored environment unless otherwise directed.
Scoring: The performance report is based on the NCLEX-RN® test plan. Information is provided regarding the performance of the normative sample, which includes graduating students in associate, baccalaureate, and diploma programs. Two copies of each individual diagnostic profile are provided: one for the examinee and one for faculty analysis. A summary report for the class, which includes a record of each student's incorrect and/or omitted responses, is provided when ten or more students are tested as a group.
