[OTACHI041703]

Purpose: Assesses fundamental skills needed to meet physiological and psychosocial needs of clients who are in stable condition.

Format: 184 multiple-choice, four-option items.

Administration: Can be administered in three and one-half hours. This test may be administered as a computer-based test (CBT) or paper-based test (PBT).

Scoring: A total score is provided as a basis to use in the decision to award credit for advanced placement in an RN program.
