NURSING ACCELERATION CHALLENGE EXAM (NACE) I - PN to RN: FOUNDATIONS OF NURSING
[OTACHI041703]

Purpose: Assesses fundamental skills needed to meet physiological and psychosocial needs of clients who are in stable condition.

Format: 184 multiple-choice, four-option items.

Administration: Can be administered in three and one-half hours. This test may be administered as a computer-based test (CBT) or paper-based test (PBT).

Scoring: A total score is provided as a basis to use in the decision to award credit for advanced placement in an RN program. Score reports also include diagnostic scores for each area of nursing content and all areas of the nursing process. These diagnostic scores are intended to supplement faculty evaluation of students and to enhance the student's self-assessment of strengths and weaknesses.

Scores are normed on nursing students in associate and diploma programs.
