NURSING ACCELERATION CHALLENGE EXAM (NACE) II - RN to BSN: CARE OF THE CLIENT DURING CHILDBEARING AND CARE OF THE CHILD
[OTACHI025323]

Purpose: Assesses knowledge of the nursing care of clients during the antepartal, intrapartal, and postpartal periods. Also addresses the nursing care of children and adolescents in various stages of health and illness.

Format: 203 multiple-choice, four-option items.

Administration: Can be administered in four hours. This test may be administered as a computer-based test (CBT) or paper-based test (PBT).

Scoring: A total score is provided as a basis to use in the decision to award credit for advanced placement in a baccalaureate nursing program. Score reports also include diagnostic scores for each area of nursing content and all areas of the nursing process. These diagnostic scores are intended to supplement faculty evaluation of students and to enhance the student's self-assessment of strengths and weaknesses.

Scores are normed on baccalaureate nursing students.

This Nursing Acceleration Challenge Exam contains two separate parts: Nursing Care During Childbearing (103 items) and Nursing Care of the Child (100 items). Separate score reports are provided for each part. Administer one or both parts for a comprehensive assessment of a student's performance.
