Call for NEP Special Issue Manuscript
September/October 2023 Issue
Nursing Education Perspectives is planning a special issue about Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Nursing Education for the September/October 2023 issue. The guest editors are Sandra Davis, PhD, DPM, ACNP-BC, FAANP, Cheryl Green, PhD, DNP, RN, LCSW, CNL, CNE, ACUE, MAC, FAPA, and Steven J. Palazzo, PhD, MN, RN, CNE.
Dr. Davis, formerly assistant dean for diversity, equity, and inclusion and an associate professor at the George Washington University School of Nursing, is deputy director for the NLN/Walden University College of Nursing Institute for Social Determinants of Health and Social Change. Dr. Green is an associate professor at Southern Connecticut State University Department of Nursing. Dr. Palazzo is an associate professor and associate dean for academic affairs at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Nursing.
We are seeking research and innovation manuscripts in nursing education focused on addressing equity, diversity, and inclusion. Topics of interest may include manuscripts that focus on solution-oriented actions related to transformational and innovative strategies for educational delivery in the academic and clinical settings that provide tools to dismantle systemic inequities.
We are also seeking single-site studies for the journal’s Research Briefs section, and innovative pedagogical strategies in the Innovation Center that fit this call.
Please review our Author Guidelines and submit your manuscript no later than January 15, 2023.
