- Piece of memory foam
- TED hose, Nylon Stockings, ACE wrap, or surgical wrap
- Scissors
Steps to Creating the Solution
- Select piece of memory foam which replicates the severity of edema required for the scenario.
- Use scissors to cut the memory foam to the size required for the scenario.
- Place the memory foam on the simulator extremity/area in which edema is to be assessed.
- Apply Ted hose, nylon stockings, ACE wrap, or surgical wrap over the memory foam to secure it to the simulator extremity/site.
