NLN staff understand the needs of nursing faculty and students. Our team of professionals includes our customer experience team, account managers, and a curriculum and assessment development specialist; additionally, 75+ nurse educators serve on our development committees and all are committed to providing quality services and products to customers.

We are committed to maintaining the integrity of our exams in the test development process. NLN Assessment Services follows the gold standards in testing published by the American Educational Research Association, American Psychological Association, and the National Council on Measurements in Education. The NLN's Fair Testing Guidelines are supported by NLN Assessment Services.


The NLN values inclusivity. Within test development, a diverse group of expert nurse educators serve as test item writers, test item reviewers, and on a fair testing committee to ensure that diversity is integrated in testing products. Our approach solicits input from individuals representing various ethnic, racial, cultural, and gender groups; geographic locations; and all types of nursing programs.
