National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
(NLNAC) is the entity within the National League for Nursing that
is responsible for the accreditation of nursing education schools
and programs. The NLNAC governing body is composed of articulate
leaders representing nursing education, nursing service administration,
and the public. The Commission, separate and independent of NLN,
both administratively and financially, has the sole authority and
accountability for carrying out the responsibilities inherent in
the accreditation process.
