Study materials and practice exams are available for select exams offered by the NLN. Some practice exams include study materials, and some do not. Purchasing a practice exam - alone or bundled with its study materials - gives 90 days of access to all included resources, along with unlimited practice exam attempts.
Purchasing Prep and Practice Materials
Log in to your student account.
Head to the Store:
- Check to be sure you selected the correct materials.
Click Learn More.
Click Add to Cart.
Click View Cart.
Click Proceed to Checkout.
Click Confirm Purchase.**
Enter your credit card information or school-provided voucher code.
Click Proceed to Checkout.
You will receive a "Payment successful" message indicating that you've made your purchase. You will also receive an email confirmation and a printable receipt.
Click "Go to Purchases" to view your materials.
**The NLN has a NO REFUND policy. Please make sure you have chosen the correct prep material(s) before completing your checkout. Once a purchase is made, it is final. If you are unsure which item(s) you need, please contact your institution and/or customer support.
Using Prep and Practice Materials
Once you’ve purchased your prep and practice materials, they’ll appear on your Dashboard.
1. If prep materials are included, click Learning Materials to open and review them before testing.
2. When you’re ready to try a practice exam, click Take Test* to get started.
3. All practice exams are untimed, available for 90 days, and can be taken as many times as you like.
*The NEX practice exam always includes all three content areas. If you prefer to focus on just one subject, you can click Finish Test to skip the sections you don't need until you reach the one you want to practice.
