The NLN and the Walden University College of Nursing believe that leadership is essential to creating sustainable comprehensive strategies that impact social determinants of health (SDH) and social change. The Social Determinants of Health and Social Change Leadership Academy will equip nurse educators and interprofessional colleagues to lead in preparing future care providers with knowledge, skills, tools, and evidence-based resources to confidently and competently promote social change and advance health equity.
Applications for the 2024 Leadership Academy will be accepted from December 31, 2023, through April 30, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern. Applicants must have a strong commitment to addressing the social determinants of health and social change with demonstrated teaching, service, policy, and or research and other scholarships.

By attending any NLN events or entering in the facility in which any events take place, you agree that the NLN and/or third parties authorized by the NLN may photograph or record your likeness, image, name, voice, and/or words, and may publish, display, reproduce, copy and distribute your likeness, image, name, voice, and/or words for promotional, educational, or membership activities worldwide in all forms of media now known or later developed, including but not limited to advertising, training, websites, presentations and marketing materials. You further acknowledge that the NLN and/or third parties authorized by the NLN shall have the right, but not the obligation, to identify you in connection with such media by name and/or affiliation.
