Dr. Beverly Malone, president and CEO of the National League for Nursing, will explore the leadership development journey for nurse educators, from the spark of vision to the realities of implementation. Participants will examine how unbounded ideas evolve into purposeful action by crossing the bridge of transformation, supported by strategic use of influence, a clear mission, and strong core values.

The session will also address the challenges inherent in nurse educator leadership, including roadblocks, uncertainty, and impostor syndrome, and provide practical strategies to navigate and overcome them. Emphasis will be placed on self-care, self-authorization, and effective approaches to managing stress, people, and complex systems.
