Webinar: Navigating Courage & Conviction: Equity, Social Justice & Professional Responsibility in Nursing Education
Nurse educators are navigating significant shifts in equity language, frameworks, and institutional priorities that may affect curriculum, learners, patient care, and our professional identity. This interactive presentation examines these changes and their implications for nursing education, explores the profession’s ethical commitments to equity and social justice, and considers moral courage as informed, intentional, values-based action. Participants will engage in reflection and discussion to identify practical individual and collective strategies—including faculty governance, curriculum assessment, outcome tracking, and advocacy—that uphold equity and professional responsibility in their educational and practice settings.
