NLN Celebrates National Nursing Month & The Power of Nursing Education with Release of a New App for Nurse Educators
NLNursingEd App Offers State-of-the-Art Experience with Immediate Access to Professional Education, Events & Information
Washington, DC — As America marks National Nurses Month in May, the National League for Nursing announces the launch of a new app, NLNursingEd, highlighting The Power of Nursing Education. The new app can be found in the App Store for iPhone and Google Play as NLN: For Nurse Educators, making it easy and convenient for nurse educators to access content on their mobile devices from the nation’s leading voice for nursing education.
The new app features a rotating series of notifications on the Home screen about important National League for Nursing news alerts, events and resources for the nursing education community. App users will also find an easy-to-navigate Menu of five sections that link to National League for Nursing content under the following headings:
- Find What’s New
- Get Recognized
- Build Your Success
- Make a Difference
- Access Resources
Additionally, National League for Nursing members can use their login credentials to join the conversation in NLN Connect, the exclusive members-only online community. NLNursingEd is customizable, with a My Shortcuts feature allowing users to select buttons for the Home screen that can take them directly to the content most interesting and valuable for themselves.
