Erin Killingsworth is the Director of Credentialing at the National League for Nursing. She was a nurse educator for over 18 years and has taught prelicensure, master’s, and doctoral nursing students. Dr. Killingsworth has spent her career furthering the science of nursing education. Her graduate degrees are in nursing education with her thesis and dissertation research focusing on best practices in classroom testing. Dr. Killingworth has implemented projects related to student and program evaluation, research instrument development and validation, and simulation-based learning experiences. In 2018, she received the Excellence in Educational Research Award at the 29th International Research Congress for a collaborative international research project. For her simulation work in nursing education, Dr. Killingsworth received the Academic Excellence Award from the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning in 2021. Additionally, Wiley Publisher recognized Dr. Killingsworth in 2023 for having a top cited article.
