Debra Gray, DNP, MBA, is a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with a focus in adult care. She received her BSN and MSN from Florida International University, and a Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University, she holds an MBA from Strayer University, and a DNP from Walden University. She has been a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, an ambassador of the Phi Nu chapter, and a lifetime Academic member of the Delta Epsilon Iota.
Dr. Gray's professional designations and licensure have enabled her nearly 30 years of nursing experience and 20 years in academia. Dr. Gray holds a plethora of experiences ranging from corporate environment, legal, industrial occupational health, academia, and health care industry. She has published articles mainly within public health teaching. Her favorite nursing theorist is Madeleine Leininger, the founder of Transcultural Nursing Theory, Dr. Gray believes that understanding cultural biases is a fundamental component of caring for nurses to possess.
