Global Faculty Associate Professor

Dr. Davis has held nursing faculty and academic leadership positions throughout the Chicagoland area and now is an Associate Professor at Purdue University Northwest. She is a Certified Nurse Educator (NLN). In 2024-2025 she was a Fulbright US. Faculty Scholar, hosted by the Faculty of Nursing University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Dr. Davis is in demand for presentations on the challenges facing nursing as the profession formulates new policies and procedures that support changes to nursing roles and models of care. Her expertise is in guidance for implementing new and revised professional codes of ethics and standards of practice that articulate nurses’ responsibilities and accountabilities in relation to AI health technologies. She has given invited papers across the United States, in Australia, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, Finland, India, Ireland, Japan, the Netherlands, Scotland, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. She has over 50 publications and has been awarded over 20 grants.
