Panagiota Tsikala is a nephrology nurse at the University Hospital Vienna (AKH Wien), Austria, with more than 20 years of clinical experience across Greece, Cyprus, Ireland, and Austria. She holds two master’s degrees in healthcare management and Nephrology Nursing. Panagiota serves as Policy Officer of the European Specialist Nurses Organization (ESNO) and Chair of the ESNO Patient Safety Committee. Her areas of expertise include nephrology nursing, patient safety, workforce resilience, quality improvement, CKD-associated pruritus, and healthcare leadership. She is an international speaker and author, presenting at conferences across Europe and internationally, including ISQua, WCN, EDTNA/ERCA, and ESNO events.
