Robert Topp RN, PhD

Dr. Topp (Bob) has over 35 years of experience as an academic scholar in clinical nursing research. As an endowed research chair and associate dean for research at several universities, he has effectively mentored faculty and clinical staff to become productive scholars in producing funded proposals, published manuscripts, and presentations at scientific meetings, all contributing to the advancement of healthcare scholarship. He also has extensive experience in analyzing large clinical data sets that provide evidence to guide evidence-based practice in healthcare.  Dr. Topp has provided research and statistical consultation to a number of private and public healthcare organizations conducting research projects that have resulted in publications, presentations and evidence-based changes in healthcare practice and policy.  He cofounded and currently serves as CFO of Elevating Healthcare Scholarship LLC Elevating Healthcare: Supporting Nursing Research which provides support to nurses in clinical and academic environments to increase their scholarly productivity.
