TELL THE SENATE TO REAUTHORIZE HRSA's NURSING PROGRAMS THIS YEAR!


    Congress is back for the lame duck session and is expected to be busy finalizing legislation before adjourning in December. As the 115th Congress enters its final stretch, we are learning that passage of the entire Title VIII Nursing Workforce Reauthorization Act (HR 959/S 1109) is in jeopardy. The NLN supports passage of this important piece of legislation. We need you to tell your Senators to pass the Title VIII Nursing Workforce Reauthorization Act this year. Read more...

2018 ELECTION WRAP UP


    Democrats regained control of the House of Representatives while the Republicans maintain control of the Senate and White House. In the 116th Congress, there will be 53 Republicans, 45 Democrats, and 2 Independents (who caucus with the Democrats) in the Senate. In the House, there will be 235 Democrats and 200 Republicans.
