As president of the District of Columbia/Maryland Constituent League, it is my honor to welcome you to our website and introduce you to the DC/MDLN.
This past April 11, we celebrated the 100-year history of the District of Columbia Constituent League! This milestone, a once-in-a-lifetime event, allowed us to celebrate the past and honor those who laid the foundation for our work today.
As nursing educators, our focus must also be on the future and the many challenges it brings us - Our President-Elect, Dr. Michele Dickson, attended the NLN Summit in San Diego and returned with much for us to celebrate and build upon throughout the remainder of this academic year. Soon Michele will be another building block in our story, as she becomes our President in January 2018.
Our Fall Meeting will be held on November 1st at Vicino Ristorante Italiano, in Silver Spring, MD. This will be an exciting opportunity for us to “Meet and Share” the fine work we are all doing. The meeting will allow us the chance to dine together, celebrate our efforts, and offer our members the chance to become more engaged with each other!
You are a nurse educator because you believe you can make an impact on our profession. Join us as we foster growth while we build relationships. Become a part of our journey into the next century of work! We look forward to meeting and working with you.
