NLN Announces 2023 Research Grants
Awards Presentation Will Be Held During the 2023 NLN Education Summit Near Washington, DC
Washington, DC — The National League for Nursing proudly announces the winners of the annual competitive scholarly research grants program, administered by the NLN/Chamberlain University College of Nursing Center for the Advancement of the Science of Nursing Education. Formal presentation to the grant recipients will take place during the 2023 NLN Education Summit at National Harbor near Washington, DC.
NLN Chair Kathleen Poindexter, PhD, RN, CNE, ANEF, assistant dean of undergraduate programs at Michigan State University in Lansing, said, “On behalf of the NLN Board of Governors, we congratulate these exceptional scholars, who have demonstrated their commitment to educational research that serves as the vital link to a future nursing workforce that will transform health care.”
NLN President and CEO Beverly Malone, PhD, RN, FAAN said, “Educational research for all areas of the nursing profession and levels of higher education in nursing remain a top priority. As the first national nursing organization to fund nursing education research, the National League for Nursing has a unique responsibility to advance evidence-based, innovative scientific inquiry in pursuit of transformative excellence with daring ingenuity.
