Practical/Vocational Nursing (PN/VN) faculty are increasingly challenged to engage diverse adult learners while meeting regulatory requirements, supporting student success, and preparing graduates for contemporary clinical practice. This interactive educational activity is designed to address identified faculty practice gaps related to the effective use of innovative teaching strategies, technology integration, and emerging artificial intelligence (AI) tools in PN/VN education.

Participants will explore learner-centered teaching approaches grounded in adult learning principles and inclusive pedagogy to enhance student engagement and knowledge retention. The session will also introduce accessible technology and introductory AI tools that support instructional design, formative assessment, and student remediation while maintaining academic integrity. Additionally, participants will discuss common faculty-identified barriers and facilitators to implementing innovative teaching, simulation, and technology-enhanced strategies within PN/VN programs.

Emphasis will be placed on practical application and faculty-ready strategies that can be implemented in didactic, laboratory, and clinical learning environments to strengthen educational outcomes and program effectiveness.
